Turkish Teaching Application, Research and Application Centre:

Standing as TOBB ETÜ TÖMER in abbreviation, Turkish Teaching, Research and Application Centre of TOBB Economy and Technology University was established in TOBB Economy and Technology University in April 2010 in accordance with the Article 7/d-2 of Law No. 2547 of Board of Higher Education, which replaced the Law No. 2880, so as to teach Turkish to foreigner students.

TOBB ETÜ TÖMER, which has been established so as to teach Turkish to foreigner students who want to learn Turkish and study in TOBB Economy and Technology University, will also conduct the "Summer Internship for Technology". Having been established to teach Turkish to foreigner students by means of making use of mother methods of language teaching in the word an for specialising in this area, TOBB ETÜ TÖMER has started giving Turkish language education to 14 foreigner students from different countries 6 hours a week in the Building of Preparatory School.

The Centre will make use of scientific and methodological acquisitions, both in Turkey and abroad, regarding teaching foreign language.  At the beginning, the Centre will make use of the works and materials which have been prepare, to date, for teaching Turkish to foreigners both in Turkey and abroad, however; it will develop its own publications and materials in time. We hope that TOBB ETÜ TÖMER will be beneficial for all Turkey and those who like Turkish language.
